Frequently Asked Questions

Product FAQs

Is your meat certified organic?

Because we are a small family run operation, we don’t have official Organic certification. However, we have developed incredibly strict farming guidelines, which almost always beats the minimum organic standards. The same goes for our production facility and how we clean our equipment. We use 180-degree hot water for our sanitation program and use Organic cleaning methods.

- Our animals are raised All-Natural
- Our cattle are fed a 100% all-natural vegetarian diet
- They do not have growth hormones or antibiotics.
- Raised outside on good rotating grass pasture.
- Their feed is free from any animal by-products or hazardous chemicals.

Do you use any preservatives?

We never use fillers, dyes, or artificial flavorings in any of our products.

Is your beef graded?

We are USDA inspected and have an inspector on-site every single day to ensure proper meat handling. Being a small family farm and processing operation, we do not get all of our beef graded. We have run tests on our meat and the results have come back Prime or Choice. One of the many benefits of butchering the meat by hand ourselves is that we can inspect each and every cut before sending it out. Any piece of beef without beautiful marbling or to much fat will not be sold.

Why do you dry-age the beef?

Our meats are naturally aged, fully federally inspected and carefully monitored throughout the processing procedure to ensure top quality meat. We look and rotate our cattle everyday to ensure this. Dry-aging naturally produces a buttery tenderness with more natural meat flavor and retains more meat juices than any other method. The entire beef hangs in a refrigerated cooler with strict temperature. The hang time is judged according to the amount of fat cover that is on the animal and normally ranges from 7-14 days. The key effect of dry aging is the concentration and saturation of the natural flavor.

Do you have 100% grass fed beef?

YES! We have 100% grass fed beef that have never been finished with grain. They feed on our lush pastures, and are never fed Grain, Hormones, Steroids, or antibiotics. We do mostly sell a custom grain blend ‘finished’ beef, which gives our cuts the delicious buttery taste, and marbling you know and love. All of our beef is pasture raised.

Is your meat humanely raised?

The treatment and care of our herd is very important to our family. Our herd is pasture raised and we utilized Rotational Grazing. Only one portion of pasture is grazed at a time while the remainder of the pasture “rests.” Small herds, healthy pastures, clean, fresh water and enclosed shelters provide a comfortable environment. Our Hands-On approach allows us to control the entire process of raising and producing healthy beef, with Supreme quality, flavor, and tenderness.

Do you use any hormones or antibiotics?

No, no, no.

Please allow 1-3 consecutive business days for us to process and cut your order then, please allow 1-5 consecutive business days for delivery once the Box has shipped from our facility.

How will my order be shipped? Is your packaging sustainable and eco-friendly?

To keep the meat nice and cold, we use a bio-degradable 100% all-natural, non-GMO Corn based insulation called Green Cell Foam.
